Meg and her wedding plans

I am now on Day 59 of wedding planning and I have opted for a Blog so my insane ideas can find a home and hopefully share all of my dilemmas!

Is anyone out there??

I just got engaged 59 days ago to the sweetest man in the whole world. That was Xmas eve, if you aren't mathematically inclined. He has blessed the last five years with romance, friendship, fun, travel and balance; which is truly what I needed.

He flew up from San Francisco to pop the question, and thus change the rest of my life. He has given me a ring that is more than I thought that I wanted, and has the girls/women around me oohing and aaahing over! Just what I wanted, without going overboard.

Matt (the man of my dreams), has returned to sunny San Francisco to finish up a house that he is working on. I await his arrival back to Toronto in 68 days. Or as I should say, I am pushing for less. If I get enough guilt, I mean support through this new creative avenue I may be able to speed up the process and bring him home sooner ;)

Presently Matt is driving home from Colorado where he is collecting the remnants of our life as Americans. We have opted to come back to Canada for the joys of cheap health care, liberal ideals, and anti-gun laws. All things that are helpful in making a marriage work! So with our days of "y'all" and "fixin’" ended we are ready to start our lives, family and careers back in good ole' T-dot. "Oh Canada!"

So I am calling on all present, and future family & friends to get us through the next few months of wedding planning, fill us with great ideas/suggestions/inspiration, get us down the aisle, and hopefully get my Matty home sooner!
